Delete your MoodSnug account
You can permanently delete your account and personal data at any time. Here's how, and exactly what gets removed.
Delete it from the app (easiest)
- Open MoodSnug → Profile (tap your avatar).
- Scroll to the bottom → Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account and data are erased immediately.
Can't access the app?
Email team@moodsnug.com from the phone number or email on your account, subject "Delete my account". We verify ownership and delete it within 30 days (usually within a few days).
What gets deleted
- Your profile (name, photo, phone number, any details you added).
- Your connections and directory entry (so contacts can no longer find you).
- All data stored on your device, and your encryption keys.
- Your authentication record — the account can no longer sign in.
What is kept (and why)
- Anonymous mood statistics. If you contributed to the global mood map, those contributions are anonymous and aggregated — they are keyed by a device-only identifier that is never linked to your account, so they cannot be traced back to you and remain as part of the anonymous aggregate.
About your subscription
Deleting your MoodSnug account does not cancel a Premium subscription — that is billed by Google Play (or the App Store), not by us. Cancel it in your store's subscription settings to stop future charges. Refunds follow the store's policy.
